About Greg Van Dugteren I was born and raisied in Christchurch, New Zealand and lucky enough to have had a father who loved nature and photography. My father bought me my first camera when I was 11 years old, a second hand Zeiss Icon 35mm SLR on which he taught me the basics of photography From then and to this day I have always loved the mystery and challenge of the camera however for much of my working life my passion for photography was relegated to the occasional dabble as time and energy allowed. It took the death of my father in 2011 to re-ignite my passion for photography and to make a complete change in the direction of my life.
